NATURE lovers in Sedgemoor are being urged to help save the Shrill Carder bumblebee.
A bee walk event took place on Thursday at the Avalon Marches Centre at Westhay, allowing volunteers to track and monitor the bees, which are the rarest species of bee in the UK.
The walk started at 9.30am with coffee and tea before participants were divided into five groups to walk different routes.
