They then joined pupils from Maiden Beech School to spend the afternoon and enjoy a picnic with residents at The Orchards Care home in Crewkerne.
The Archie Project, run by Reminiscence Learning, raises awareness of dementia and links schools, care homes, businesses and other members of the community.
It won an accolade at the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friendly Awards.
