New dementia friends campaign launched in Somerset
PUBLIC Health England and Alzheimer’s Society have launched a new Dementia Friends campaign in Somerset. Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends initiative aims to show it will take a whole society response to enable people with the condition to live well.
Celebrities, including Sir Terry Pratchett, will perform the iconic Beatles track ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ in a new TV ad.
Earlier this year, many top high street businesses pledged to sign up their staff to become Dementia Friends, including EDF, which has its head office in Bridgwater.
