DRIVERS got a double dose of water as Burnham’s RNLI crew washed their cars last Saturday . . . in the pouring rain!
The lifeboat crew are well-used to water and made sure all the cars left with a pristine finish.
The crew pocketed £350 in donations for future RNLI lifesaving missions.
Matt Davies, lifeboat operations, said: The guys and gals in our crew worked extremely hard in less than ideal conditions, and I wish to thank the operators of the carwash next door for closing during our fundraising initiative.”
