CYCLISTS across Somerset spun their wheels and rode nowhere in a sponsored static bike ride challenge.
The 30 people who pedalled on the static bikes rode a collective 1,002.27km, raising about £260 for the Somerset Rural Youth Project.
Five different 1610 gyms across the county took part, including Trinity Sports and Leisure in Bridgwater.
The event was held as part of a new relationship between 1610 and the Somerset Rural Youth Project with the two planning to hold even more fundraising events in the future.
