SOUTH Somerset Together is holding an Assembly in Yeovil to discuss and gather views on the skill base that is needed by employers and businesses that will lead to the enhancement of the local economy.

It will be held in the council chamber at the district council offices on Wednesday, April 30.

Interactive sessions will give participants the opportunity to express their views on causes of skills gaps and possible solutions during the event.

Representatives from a wide range of schools, businesses, organisations and parishes in the area have already booked to attend this free event.

Anyone wishing to attend can contact Chereen Scott, SST Co-ordinator, on 01935-462377 or by email on chereen.scott@southsomerset.gov.uk
