BRIDGWATER students are among the first in the UK to get 40 new-style iPad laptops to help them become cutting-edge in technology.
Chilton Trinity’s library has become a ‘Learning Centre’ for the school with a wide array of technology for students to use and enjoy, with the state-of-the-art iPad laptops added to the existing Kindle Fires, laptops and PCs.
The new laptops are the latest development in Apple’s work with schools. Chilton’s leaders are eager to see the 960 Chilton Trinity students prepared for the world of work by being excellent in the use of a wide-range of the latest technology.
Head of IT Caroline Matthews said: “We are delighted to have this technology for the students. It is proving extremely popular.
“The world has moved on at an incredible pace with technology and it is vital that students are kept up-to-date with all the latest gadgets and their use in the workplace.”
