HORSES and farm animals in need of veterinary treatment in West Somerset can look forward to a new facility at a redundant farm building site at Ellicombe.
The building is designed to improve on existing facilities at White Lodge Veterinary Clinic in Stephenson Road, Minehead.
There will be a state-of-the-art operating theatre, stables for hospitalisation and a suite of examination rooms for X-rays, lameness investigations and dental treatement.
Partners Simon White and Tom Gliddon said: “We are very excited to announce this project, which will increase the range of investigations and operations we can offer.
“The extra room will also give us the opportunity to offer a greater range of animal health products in the future.
“Not only does this bring veterinary care for our larger patients finally into the 21st Century, it will also give us more room at our Stephenson Road site to improve our companion animal clinic.”
