Out of respect to this lad's family and friends, I think ppl should refrain from being too specific on the event and details..... save the facts for the police, your opinions to yourselves.

This is the most tragic news my family are heartbroken. Please think before you comment and show some respect for the family.
Maybe if the people helped him instead of avoiding him or called the police before it was too late we wouldn't have this heartache. No families should ever need to suffer this devastation.
He was normal 23 old lad enjoying a night with friends.
No one should prejudge the situation and allow the family to grieve in peace.

R.I.P . We will all miss you. Love all the family xxx

Apparently the taxi driver is back at work. Surely he should be suspendidpending an enquiry of what happened. RIP to the man who lost his life. Thoughts are with his family.

Mi_Coc: I don't think that comment Is really necessary for this post even if that's what you think. A young guy and a good friend has died and no one even knows the circumstances. Just keep your views to yourself and let friends and family grieve.

My husband and I know exactly what this lads family are going through as we have been through the same. After the event witness's came forward and said they saw a girl staggering in the road but didn't stop to help incase it lead to something else. Had they helped she would be here today. Condolences to the family.

Thats fine but people are blaming the taxi driver and passing motorists so I felt some balance was needed.

At the end of the day no one can cast blame. It does not matter whos fault it is! all that matters is the fact that a presious life has been lost!
you can't really dudge someone who is not here to answer or defend themselves.
If you knew the person you would know he has his head screwed on and not just some 'drunk' who was wandering down a road. Are all of you people putting negative comments trying to tell me you have never been out on a night with your friends? People really do need to think before they write comments.
This guy was a lovely person who is missed by ALOT of his friends and family...

Really wish people would think before they decide to put comments on such a public area.
