TWO people were trapped in a car after it left the A361 at Sedgemoor today (January 4).
Two fire crews and a rescue tender were sent to the accident at Othery at around 11am.
On arrival crews found a single vehicle had left the road and ended up in a field, with two elderly men trapped inside.
A spokesman said: " Crews used cutting gear to cut away a hedge to allow the ambulance service access to the casualties. Crews assisted paramedics further to release the casualties from the vehicle."
