FREE workshops for people caring for a family member or friend with dementia are being held in Williton in 2014.
The Carer Information and Support Programme (CrISP), run by the Alzheimer’s Society staff, holds workshops for up to 12 people.
They provide the opportunity to talk in a friendly and confidential environment about the experiences of dementia.
The free workshops will give information and support on a range of topics including, what dementia is, how to support someone with dementia and support services.
Workshops will take place once a week on Wednesday’s from January 15 until February 12 from 10.30am to 1pm.
They will be held at Williton Parish Council offices and refreshments will be provided.
