STAFF at the Argos Distribution Centre in Bridgwater had their hands full on ‘Cyber Monday’ – the busiest day of the year for online shopping.
The 430 staff at Huntworth Business Park despatched thousands of items, ranging from games consoles and tablets to children’s toys.
John Lacey, centre manager, said: “Almost half of all Argos sales are online, and with more customers expected to shop digitally this Christmas we’re doing everything we can to get them what they need.
“Hundreds of people in our Bridgwater operation will be helping to make Christmas happen for households across the area.”
