Lenten lunch at Tatworth

A LENTEN Lunch will be held at St John’s Church tomorrow (Thursday) in Tatworth in aid of the Chard branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
A short communion service will be held at the church during Lent every Thursday at 11.30am followed by a lunch, with profits going to charities.
A Lenten Lunch is a simple meal of soup, bread or crackers, cheese and possibly some fruit to allow people to empathise in a small way with people who have little to eat.
