Fire crews rescue horse trapped in gate
A SPECIALIST animal rescue team from Bridgwater helped release a horse that had got its leg stuck in a gate.
The incident happened at Chilthorne Domer, near Yeovil, around 8.15am this morning (March 3).
Upon arrival the crews found one horse caught on top of a gate, with its rear leg trapped in the gate cross sections. The rescue tender from Yeovil was also sent and a vet was on scene to sedate the horse, allowing the crews to release to release it safely.
