Elderly woman rescued from bathroom

AN 86-YEAR-OLD woman was rescued this evening after suffering a fall at her home in Cannington.
The alarm was raised at just after 5pm when the Fire Service received reports that an elderly woman had fallen down in the bathroom and was stuck behind the door.
One fire engine from Bridgwater attended the scene and officers rescued the woman and helped ambulance crews.
