TATWORTH Primary School has raised £1,660 for Somerset Sight.
The money was raised from parents’ and friends’ donations during the school’s Christmas productions.
Pupils also sold festive stamps for the delivery of ‘internal’ Christmas cards and staff made a collection instead of sending each other cards.
Head teacher David Knight said: “The largest collection was made at the final performance, which for the last year nine years has taken place at the amazing venue of Cricket St Thomas.
“This is a greatly valued, unique and special link for the school.”
