Children spread cheer at nursing home

RESIDENTS from Allandale Nursing Home in Burnham have thanked pre-school children for spreading some festive cheer.
The children from Southleigh Pre-School, on Rectory Road, dressed in their nativity costumes and enjoyed singing Christmas songs while the residents joined in with the music and merriment last month.
Tina Barton, the house manager said: “The residents were very excited to receive the children on this annual visit and would hope that they could make more frequent visits as it gave a lift to their day.”
