MEMBERS of Burnham’s Moose International Lodge 123 began the new year by going back in time.
More than 80 members and guests enjoyed an ‘old-time music hall’ themed event at Berrow village hall.
Guests were entertained with sketches and sing-songs, and tucked into a dinner of pie, sausage and mash.
Moose governor Brian Mudge said: “It was a most successful evening and I believe we have raised over £400 towards my nominated charities. Thank you to all who made the evening a success.”
Ladies circle president Rita Harris added: “Everybody worked extremely hard and the fancy dress enhanced the usual party atmosphere.”
Reg Molesdale won the best dressed man competition and Carol Livingstone won the ladies’ equivalent.
