Campervan destroyed in Combe St Nicholas fire

A CAMPERVAN was destroyed in a fire in Combe St Nicholas today.
Two fire crews from Chard were called to Frog Lane, near the village football field, around 4pm, and extinguished the flames.
A fire service spokesman said: "On arrival crews confirmed this was a small camper van containing a gas cylinder which had already vented and got to work extinguishing using two breathing apparatus and one compressed air foam jet."
