First published in Somerset

WALKERS along the Somerset coast are being warned to watch out for landslides after the recent heavy rains.

The British Geological Survey is concerned about the stability of cliff edges and cliff sides.

It has issued an alert for walkers to be careful along the whole of the South-West Coastal Path, which includes the Somerset coast.

and those that are totally ignoring the 'Footpath Closed' and pushing the flimsy plastic barrier out of the way so they can stroll down the slipway at Blue Anchor are doing so at great risk. When the wall and/or the cliff go the Emergency Services will be at great personal risk trying to dig the idiots out.
In the space of 11 minutes I watched 17 people amble up and down with barely a glance at the sign.
