East Quay staff "Go For It" in NHS scheme

MEDICAL staff from Bridgwater who were inspired by the London Olympics to get active have been recognised in an NHS awards scheme.

NHS Somerset bosses presented awards following the Go For It challenge, which saw more than 2000 staff complete nearly five million minutes of physical activity.

A team from Bridgwater’s East Quay Medical Centre won the category for workplaces with under 200 employees, with Edington Surgery second and Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre third.

Sue Knott, from East Quay, was third in the individual competition.
