Motorist hospitalised after being freed from crash

A MOTORIST was freed from their car following a crash.
Emergency services attended the incident at Cathole Bridge, Crewkerne, at 8.03pm yesterday (Christmas Eve).
Only one car was involved in the incident after it left the highway and was "in a precarious position".
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews found a vehicle in a ditch with a person inside.
"Ambulance crews were on the scene assessing the casualty.
"Crews released the casualty from the vehicle who was conveyed to hospital."
