CAMPAIGNER John Gallagher said the Mount Hindrance Action Group petition against the development had been signed by 1,200 people.
“It would be more had the weather not been so bad,” he said. “A conservative estimate would say that 90% of people agreed to sign the petition.
“The people of Chard do not want this development.”
