PARALYMPIC heroes Deb Criddle and Lucy Shuker have been honoured at a Civic reception at Somerset County Cricket Club.
Officials from Taunton Deane Council gathered to pay tribute to the sportswomen, who both won medals at the London Games in the summer.
Taunton Deane Mayor Terry Hall and Mayoress Ann Hall presented the pair with commemorative trophies to mark their achievements.
Deb, from Trull, who lost her right arm in a motorcycle accident, won team gold and two silvers in the Paralympic dressage events.
Wheelchair tennis star Lucy, from Taunton, won bronze in the women’s doubles competition with partner Jordanne Whiley.
