THESE students from King Alfred School in Highbridge are pictured on a visit to Koblenz in Germany.
More than 30 students from the school visited a partner school in the country as part of a trip which included a visit to the point where the Mosel and Rhine rivers meet.
Georgina Folwell, of Year 10, wrote a report of the trip and said: “We travelled to Cologne, the third biggest city in Germany, but on the way we stopped off in Bonn at the mother of all Haribo shops to spend some Euros.
“Most of us came out with huge 4kg boxes of sweets; it was like heaven and the coach could only just fit all of the sweets in the hold.”
