Man dies in crash near Okehampton

A man has died after being involved in a crash on the Old A30 at Lewdown, Okehampton on Sunday.

A police spokesman said that a green Citreon Saxo was the only vehicle involved in the crash at 8.45pm on Sunday, and that the male passenger in the Saxo died of his injuries.

Police forensic collision investigators were called to the scene and the road was closed for collision investigation work.
