Tiverton girl wins fives under-14 title

EMILY Combe, of Blundell’s School, Tiverton, has won the national under-14 title for fives, a game similar to squash.

Emily and Amy Cross won an all-Blundell’s doubles final, beating Lizzie Fearnley and Abigail Bundy.

ORGANISERS of the 7.5-mile Women’s Midnight Walk in Tiverton, starting and finishing at the town rugby club on Monday, July 14, are appealing for more participants.

PENSIONERS can have their fitness and mobility checked at an event to promote the importance of healthy bones.
