Serious fire - Newton Abbot

Police and fire investigators are carrying out an investigation into the cause of a major fire in Newton Abbott.
Emergency services were called to the Heltor Business Park, Old Newton Road, Newton Abbot at around 2am this morning, Friday, June 8 after reports that one of the business premises was on fire.
Due to the location of the business park, 10 residential properties have been evacuated as a precautionary measure, resulting in 20 persons needing rehousing.
Teignbridge District Council out of hours housing department, have been called in to assist with housing evacuees.
A spokesman for the fire service said there were no reported injuries.
At one stage there were ten pumps at the sceneand road closures were put in place.
