TRADERS and businesses from Cullompton and the surrounding area are being invited to help shape the town's future business development.

The Cullompton Traders Association (CTA) will hold their Annual General Meeting at the new Cullompton Community Centre on February 29 at 6pm.

Amy Tregellas, Head of Communities and Governance at Mid Devon District Council, will be a guest speaker.

A new chairman and vice chairman will also be appointed, as both Babs Preston and Janet Johns are standing down and are not offering themselves for re-election.

Only members of the CTA will be able to stand for office and vote in the elections. Membership is open to any business based in or around Cullompton and is available through Membership Secretary Peggy Goffey at Peggy's Pantry in Fore Street or by emailing sharon@mrbensemporium.co.uk.

Membership currently costs £5.
