Torbay police are taking on the ambulance service in a football match to help raise cash for charity.
Torbay Police FC will play against Torbay Ambulance Service FC at the Devon FA ground, Coach Road in Newton Abbot on Monday 31 January. Kick-off is at 7pm, with gates opening at 6:15pm for spectators.
The match is being played in aid of the Rowcroft Hospice, Torquay. Funds will be raised by donations given on the gate and further collections during the evening. There will also be a charity raffle. All donations will go to the hospice.
PC Lee Langley, from Torquay, said: “The last time we played against each other it was a fantastic social event and I’m sure it will be again.”
