UFFCULME School had another record breaking set of GCSE results, with 88% of students with five or more A*-C grades and 77% with five 5 A*-C grades including English and maths.
Head teacher Lorraine Heath said: “We’re once again absolutely delighted with these results.
“They’re proof positive that hard work and commitment is the key to success and these students deserve to feel proud of their achievements.
“Every student in the school has achieved at least one GCSE pass and a staggering 99.5% have achieved at least five.
“I’d like to pay tribute to the enormous amount of dedication and skill of the teaching staff.”
Outstanding individual performances included Alex Everett, with 12 A*s and Toby Bonvoisin, Matthew Evans, Nicola Kerslake, Lucy Miller and Venetia Miller, all with 10 A*s and one A.
Uffculme School will be opening as one of the new style academies next month.
