Boy cyclist seriously hurt
AN 11-year-old cyclist suffered serious leg injuries when his bike was in collision with a car in Newton Abbot yesterday.
He was taken to Torbay Hospital where his condition is said to be serious but stable.
The road was closed for five hours following the incident which happened between Ashburton roundabout and Jetty Marsh Road roundabout at about 5.45pm.
The driver of the vehicle, a Ford Ka, was uninjured.
