Cyclist injured after collision in Exeter

A YOUTH on a bicycle was helped by firefighters after a crash in Exeter this afternoon.

They were called to the Burnthouse Lane area at 4pm.

A fire spokesman said: “The incident involved a youth on a bicycle who had been in collision with a car.

“Fire crews rendered first aid and left the incident with the ambulance crews.”

• FIRE crews were called to a kitchen fire in Leat Street, Tiverton, at 2pm today.

The minor blaze was called by a pan left unattended on a cooker.
