EXETER'S green-fingered gardeners are ensuring that the city's recycling rate is still on the up.
Figures show garden waste collected from residents increased by 44 tonnes - the equivalent of six dustcart-loads - on the previous quarter.
But recycling of paper, cardboard, tins, plastic and glass dropped during the same period by three tonnes.
