DEVON & Cornwall Police Authority will be webcasting for the first time from the Police Headquarters, Middlemoor at their next full meeting on Friday at 10am.
The Police Authority film all full Police Authority meetings and most committee meetings so that they can be watched live or online at a later date, but this will mark the first time filming has taken place at Police Headquarters. Since webcasting of the meetings began on October 5 last year, they have previously been filmed at Devon County Council Chamber, County Hall.
Police Authority Chairman John Smith said: “We want to raise public interest in our meetings and make the more accessible.
“The public are always welcome to attend and now the discussions and decisions made at the meetings will be available to all those who have access to the internet.”
He added: “We look forward to the public watching us.”
