STUDENTS from Tiverton's East Devon College have returned from an action-packed trip to Toronto in Canada.

Two lecturers and 17 students spent a week in the city as part of their travel and tourism coursework.

The trip was organised by A-level students Ryan Sams, Candice Moore, and Sammy Head, of Tiverton, and Naomi Gravell, from Exeter.

Students visited Canada's iconic CN Tower, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Zoo and Niagara Falls.

Ryan said: "I thought the trip was brilliant. It was great that there was snow there and I really enjoyed the Canadian culture and the amazing places we visited.

"The views from the CN Tower were just awesome - we could see right over Toronto.

"The trip to Niagara Falls was incredible too. It was such a thrill to be there."
