AN ELDERLY man was treated by paramedics after his car rolled onto its roof.
Fire and ambulance services attended the one-vehicle crash on Wonham Road near Bampton at 4.20pm yesterday.
Two fire engines from Tiverton and Wiveliscombe were sent to the incident, following a call from a member of the public.
The caller said that someone was trapped and that the vehicle was possibly on fire, however on arrival crews confirmed the elderly driver had been removed from the vehicle already.
The car had overturned and ended up on its roof, but there was no fire.
Crews made the vehicle and scene safe, while the elderly gentleman was left in the hands of paramedics.
