A FIRE crew had to be called out yesterday after a car was ablaze at Exeter University.
The vehicle was left severely damaged, with slight damage to another car.
The incident happened at 7.13pm yesterday (October 22) at Exeter University, Innovation Centre, Rennes Drive, Exeter.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "One fire appliance from Danes Castle was sent to a report of a vehicle on fire at the above location.
"On arrival the crew confirmed that the vehicle was well alight.
"The car was severely damaged by fire and an adjacent vehicle was also slightly damaged.
"The fire crew used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one hydraulic rescue set to deal with the incident."
