A WEEKEND of indifferent weather wasn’t enough to stop the crowds from flocking to the 2015 Tiverton Balloon Festival at the combined Tiverton High School and Petroc campus last weekend.
The exciting ballooning, music and aerial extravaganza was once again raising money for two local charities and this year’s chosen causes were the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Children’s Hospice South West as well as numerous local charities, clubs and organisations.
Unfortunately, due to adverse weather, the Sunday evening mass inflation did not take place, but that wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits of the many visitors.
