THE National Lottery is hunting for a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker winner who has won £1,000,000, plus a dream car.

Every week Millionaire Maker guarantees to create two millionaires – one on Tuesday and one on Friday – but with the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on 27 March, 2015, 10 players won a guaranteed £1m prize plus a dream car.

One of the lucky winners from the draw, who bought their ticket in the Districts of Mid & North Devon, has still to check their ticket and claim their prize. The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket and players in the Districts of Mid & North Devon are being urged to check and double-check their unique Millionaire Maker code for the chance to become an instant millionaire.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The winning selection on Friday 27 March, 2015 was KRD143088 and the lucky ticket-holder has until Wednesday 23 September, 2015 to claim their prize1.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. The National Lottery changes the lives of individuals as well as communities – players raise, on average, over £33 million for National Lottery-funded projects every week.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. Thanks to EuroMillions Mega Friday, £1m plus a dream car would certainly be an amazing introduction to the millionaire lifestyle.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

To help jog EuroMillions players’ memories about what was happening around the time of the draw in question, local football clubs Tiverton Town and Exeter City were in action in their respective divisions on Saturday 28 March.

While Tivvy triumphed 2-1 away at Bashley in the Southern League Division One South and West, the Grecians played out a 1-1 draw at St James Park with fellow play-off hopefuls Morecambe.

Away from sport, locals may have taken a trip to the theatre – Nursing Lives was playing at the University of Exeter’s Northcott Theatre on Friday 27 March.

The amazing Mega Friday draws take place on the last Friday of each month. They create multiple £1 million winners who will also receive life-changing prizes as they start their millionaire life. Every Mega Friday winner has the choice of either taking the once-in-a-life-time prize, or a cash alternative.
