EIGHTS boys from Kentisbeare Primary School in Cullompton have been celebrating after winning the x-country competition at the Devon Winter Games.
Having won both the qualifiers at Killerton and Bicton, the boys from Years 3 and 4, representing East Devon, went on to compete against 13 other schools at the x-country finals in Torbay on March 19.
Not only did the children win the competition, they also took part in various activities such as volleyball, shooting, curling, watched breakdancing and received a Sainsbury's School Games t-shirt signed personally by Olympic shooter Georgina Geike.
