TO celebrate Easter in Tiverton, the Tiverton Traders Association is having an Easter Bonnets competition.
Children of all ages are invited to take part and local shop keepers will be making their own Easter Bonnets with everyone welcome to join in.
Held in the town centre at Phoenix Lane on Saturday, April 4, the Easter Bonnet entries will be judged by the town mayor, Sue Griggs.
She said: “We love spring time and to celebrate Easter in this beautiful town of ours, we're having an Easter Bonnets competition.”
“Tiverton is a wonderful town for families with children.
“The town has a wealth of creative talent as seen at the fantastic theatre performances in the New Hall, and events in the area. We thought we'd do something that can be seen by everyone.”
There will be prizes for children under five years, six to 11 years and over 12 years.
