BNY Mellon and Newton Buddies team up with SportsAid to help 30 young athletes
BNY Mellon Buddy Naomi Waistell, from Exeter, presents SportsAid athlete Denise Payet with a cheque for £1,666 at BNY Mellon’s charity partnership launch with SportsAid.
Waistell and table tennis star Payet have been paired for the next 12 months with 30 BNY Mellon staff offering financial and moral support for the 30 SportsAid athletes.
Wasitell said: “I am very excited to be a part of this scheme, which supports such impressive young athletes. I am sure that I will learn just as much, if not more, than Denise will learn from me.
”Hopefully I will have a tiny involvement in the future of British sport due to my relationship with Denise who has all the right attributes to be sports star.”
