THE Blockheads, the band that exploded on the scene with the late Ian Dury as front man will play Exeter Corn Exchange on Sunday 23 November.
The Blockheads have stayed together since the Stiff Records tour in 1977 and have continued to grow in stature despite the sad loss of their enigmatic front man.
Their many hits include Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick, What A Waste, Reasons To Be Cheerful and Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.
The Blockheads are one of the most exciting British bands of all time with a legion of fans of all ages and the Corn Exchange show promises to be a night not to be missed by anyone who really loves top rock music.
Tickets are £19 (£22 on the door subject to availability) and are available from the venue box office on 01392 665938. No booking fees or postage is charged for telephone bookings. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.exeter.gov.uk/cornexchange
