TIVERTON MP Neil Parish - who is also chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Eggs, Pigs and Poultry - has announced that the Group will be holding oral evidence sessions at the Houses of Parliament as part of an inquiry into the responsible use of antibiotics in livestock farming, the impact of planning regulations on farming and animal welfare issues effecting the eggs, pig and poultry sectors.

The APPG panel will be discussing these areas with witnesses on the following dates; Planning (14th October), Antibiotics (21st October) and Welfare (28th October).

All sessions will be held in Room N, Portcullis House, Palace of Westminster 10.00-11.30 am.

The witnesses at each evidence session will consist of stakeholders from the Egg, Pig and Poultry sectors and planning and animal welfare experts
