New image, but message is 'business as usual' for law firm

IF you’ve visited North Street in Crediton lately you may have noticed a colourful change – an unmissable, bright green door!

Following the successful merger between Gilbert Stephens LLP and Symes Robinson & Lee in 2013, the law firm is now going through a rebrand process and the newly painted door marks just one of the changes to its image taking place.

Clare Trevelyan Thomas, Partner at Gilbert Stephens, explains: “Part of the merger process is adopting the logo and corporate colours, hence the new frontage and green door, but an important message is that clients will see the same person they have dealt with for years at the same offices. Deeds, wills and other documents will continue to be safely stored in the same place, so for all intents and purposes, it is essentially just a name change and new look coming into force.”

“Overall the response to the new image has been favourable but we would of course welcome anyone with any concerns or queries to please get in touch.”
