CHILDREN at St John's Catholic Primary School in Tiverton have been showcasing their performing skills at the school's annual talent show.

The children performed to a panel of judges including guest judge and local singer-song writer Adam Isaac (BBC, The Voice).

The Talent Show, organised by the School Council and teacher Miss Isaac, attracted nearly 50 auditioning acts aged between 5-11 years old, including singing, dancing, comedy, sport skills and playing instruments.

The auditions were held in June and were judged by a panel of school council children.

Twelve acts were successful in making the final show, which was held in the school hall to a large audience of parents, governors and the whole school.

Adam was invited to help judge the final and present the winner's trophy.

He also treated the audience to an inspiring assembly and live music to close the show.

Miss Isaac said: “All the children have thoroughly enjoyed sharing their talents and cheering on their class mates. It has been a positive experience and a great platform for the children to start demonstrating their amazing gifts and talents.”

Mrs McCloskey, head teacher, said: "It has been great fun for the children, and we were delighted that Adam agreed to do the judging."
