Motorist airlifted to hospital following crash on A361
A MOTORIST was airlifted to hospital after a crash on the A361 in the early hours of this morning (June 14).
Three fire teams from South Molton and Barnstaple were called to reports of a crash on the A361, Borners Bridge near South Molton, at around 1am.
On arrival crews confirmed the crash involved two vehicles with a man trapped severely.
Crews got to work trying to release the casualty using cutting gear, a hirst kit and small tools.
The casualty was taken to hospital via air ambulance.
