TIVERTON-based business Hepcomotion scooped three medals at the CLIC Sargent 10k race along the Grand Western Canal last weekend.
The company had helped sponsor the event and also had a number of employees enter the race, but in a surprise turn of events, three of their team scooped the top medals.
Martin Shapland, Process Engineer, was the overall winner of the race.
He said: “We all train together once a week at lunchtime and we thought we could run the race well, but for all three of us to go home with a medal is a funny turn of events.”
Martin completed the 10k in 38 minutes - Stuart Hill, Senior Applications Engineer, came second and Shaun Hudd, Purchasing Manager, came third.
