FUNDRAISERS faced their fears for charity when they took part in a sponsored abseil on Saturday.
The Rev Tim Treanor was among the hardy souls to abseil from the top of St John’s Church, Wellington.
The event was organised to raise cash for the Flooding on the Levels Action Group (FLAG) after the devastating floods this winter.
Organiser Sue White said: “We had 58 people do the abseil and must have raised £3,500, which will be put with the money from our fun run.
“I’d like to thank the vicar and everybody who helped to make it a success.”
